Lightweight Trivets with Legs
These lightweight trivets do not require the use of a firing grid underneath.  This reduces the amount of heat that would normally be absorbed by the grid when firing and also makes the overall load a little lighter when loading into the furnace.  These trivets feature small legs which allow your spatula, trowel, or firing fork to fit underneath.

Adjustable Trivet
An investment that will last a lifetime.  Minimizes warpage with proper support location.  These adjustable trivets work with square, rectangular, round and free form shapes.  Wings will bolt into place in any position on the grid.  Wings are available in two sizes; STP-Wings have a shallow pitch, used for plate forms.  Each can accommodate pieces as small as 4-1/2" square to as large as 10-1/2" square.

Sheet Mica

Nichrome Wire
This wire produces very little oxide when heated, minimizing contamination in the firing chamber.  The wire can be used in conjunction with other trivets or stilts to hold rings, or other three-dimensional objects that are difficult to stilt.

Enameling Furnace Supplements

Furnace Cement
A high temperature air setting cement powder.  Mix with water for hard surface linings, cementing bricks together, or repairing furnaces.  Add grog or crushed insulating brick to cement mix to patch or repair larger holes in furnaces.

Marinite Board

Marinite is a high temperature insulating board which stands up to enameling temperatures and is used as a support during firing of flat pieces.  It is easily cut with any saw or can be scored with a utility knife and broken apart.  1/2" thick.

Oberon Gold Heat-Reflective Face Shield
Reflects more than 99% of IR and UV radiation

A thin layer of gold (the most efficient reflector of radiant heat known) on the polycarbonate shield reflects radiation while allowing visible light to pass through for clear vision.

Specifications:  Abrasion-resistant coating protects the gold layer on the outside, anti-fog coating on the inside.  Adjustable ratchet headgear fits a variety of sizes.  8"h x 14"w x 0.080" thick window.
